Planning a party, invite your guests to bring non perishable food for donation.
Hold a food drive at you place of work, worship or school.
More produce in your garden than you can use, donate your excess to the Food Bank.
Sell your extra garden produce to family, friends or colleagues and donate the money to the Food Bank.
Enjoy hunting and fishing but don't eat it. Take it to a professional food processor and have it prepared for donation to the Food Bank.
When Halloween comes around, have your children trick or treat for non-perishable food items and donate them to the Food Bank.

Chances are, someone you know is struggling to put food on the table. A landmark study released this month- Hunger in America 2010 - reveals that 46% more Americans are receiving food assistance now than in 2006. The study was conducted by Feeding America, the nations' largest hunger relief organization and its member food banks.
