
FACILITIES
The Food Bank operates out of a 20,000 square foot warehouse
with six loading docks, a large reclamation and repacking
center,
and a large market place shopping area for agency shoppers.
Within the warehouse, there is a 25,000 cubic foot freezer
with three
level racking (which can store up to three truckloads of frozen
product) and a 6,700 cubic foot cooler that provides refrigerated
storage for produce, dairy products, and other perishable items.
A fleet of vehicles, including a straight-bed truck, a refrigerated
truck, a mobile food pantry, and a cargo van are used for delivering
and picking up product.
